Special Effects:

1) First, the vowel 'i' is taken in freeze-frame, as a base from which to begin our transformation.
2) Using the latest in computer software and graphic technology, the dot is moved from atop the'i', and placed 90' to the right. Care is taken to make this transition as seamless as possible, so that the audience will believe that the dot is actually in front of the i. This rendering process is laborious, and it takes three hours for a network of over 20 dedicated computers, joined together on a single server, to complete a single frame of the page.
3) Finally, graphic artists are employed to blend together the stick and dot in it's new position, using the latest in design hardware. As much as technology allows us to accomplish certain feats, there will always be a place for the skilled hand of a human artist.
4) After hours of rendering, careful manipulation of individual pixels, and several thousand dollars, the 'i' is now a lower case 'r'. The change is so dramatic, yet so believeable, that it will shock audiences around the world. The uiltimate goal of the speical effects artist is to recreate reality while blending in a touch of fantasy, and above all, make audiences ask themselves, 'How DID they do that?"
